Looks like these are essentially overseas made replicas. At least they meet the typical industry wheel standards. With the Costco $100 off, you can't beat the price for a cheap alloy.
"C-Wheels premium alloys offer aftermarket style and OE inspired designs that meet all international quality standards such as ISO9001, QS9000 and VIA of JWL . Their dynamic unique design will ensure that your car stands out . They are perfect for giving your vehicle an exclusive look for summer. C-Wheels also offer a great selection of winter alloy or steel wheels perfect for our Canadian winter. Steel wheels offer an affordable solution, made with high quality steel and manufactured to OEM specifications insuring precise fit. Their finish has been tested and proven in our winters."
A quick WHOIS also points to this website: https://www.rthibert.com/en-us/ and their about page says:

Got c wheels for winters on A4 about 3-4 years ago.
Fine so far although mechanic did mention that design wise with all the cut outs they are not as strong... no issues so otherwise.
Think they cost about same as the Xice tires!!
2022/3: BOC raised 10 times and MCAP raised its prime next day.
2017,2018: BOC raised rates 5 times and MCAP raised its prime next day each time.
2020: BOC dropped rates 3 times and MCAP waited to drop its prime to include all 3 drops.

I had them on my 2014 Prius V for three winters with no issues. Perfect fit with plastic hub rings to match for hub concentric fit.
Just bought another set for my 2019 RAV4. Exact fit this time, no plastic hub rings. Worked out to $125 per rim after $100 discount that was refunded to me after the initial purchase.
And don't forget, you can return them if you don't like them.
Buy them.

The c-wheels website shows two “oem inspired” wheels for my car, one for $109 and another for $139. The $109 wheel does not show up on the Costco website “product does not exist”. I emailed c-wheels and they responded with:
Costco’s website is having issues, until that is resolved the wheel is unavailable.
Do you think Costco would hold back the wheel due to the $100 discount? I found the respond odd. They are clearly blaming the Costco website, but make no mention of the products actual availability. With the discount the alloy would be only $25 more per wheel than steelies. The $139 are not worth the extra $120 IMO.

I ordered the TY-1 , 17" 5 spoke wheels, 17x 7 38ET , 60.1 bore with Blizzak DM-V2 225/65/17. If you look at the symbols you will see it is a winter wheel using the OEM wheel nuts. Tires are mounted by Costco, , just waiting for cold weather. Costco will install them. This is the wheel size for the Hybrid LE. Same tire diameter and width as 18".

Do you know if these rims require a hub-centric ring?
It is too bad the $100 off promo is off now.

These are an exact fit for OEM 60.1 bore. No rings required. All Costco wheels are hub centric. If it shows a larger bore then they will come with plastic rings to match you car.
I have had them with plastics rings that are a tight t fit in the wheels. No issues after three winters.
Also, I bought my wheels in September and went back and got the $100 refund from Costco after by going on line. Also got the $99 credit for free installation same way.

The wheels are flow-forged. (If you read the older RFD thread, someone mentions the wheels at the time were gravity cast.)

I'm 3 years late but Google brought me here. You're right, another thread said they were cast. Were you able to confirm that they are flow formed, just like most third parties like RTX and Fast? I really don't want cast wheels on a heavy EV.

I also found this thread 3 years later. A frantically trying to get rims and tires for this labour day sale
I have a 2016 honda accord EX-L
Based on Tire Rack's website, these are the tires I qualify for
Factory Size Wheel Diameter: 17" Recommended (215/55/17) - what my all seasons are currently
Factory Size Wheel Diameter: 17" Alternative (225/55/17)
Minus Wheel Diameter: 16" Recommended (205/65/16) - what I'm opting for
Minus Wheel Diameter: 16" Alternative (215/60/16)
So I decided to get the michellin x-ice snow tires. These were the costs for the 4 tires
Factory 17" recommended - $229.99
Factory 17" alternative - $259.99/tire
Minus 16" recommended - $169.99/tire - What i'm opting for
Minus 16" alternative - $184.99/tire
When it came to the rims, I went to the c-wheels website since its 20% off alloy rims also in addition to these winter tire packages.
I was confused between selecting the 16"x7 or 16"x6.5" rims. I had gone back to tire rack to input in my car model and year to get some help. I really hope I did the right thing by selecting the C-Wheels 16 in. HN-1 OE Inspired Wheel - CW081804. I still hope the offset holds up.
Will edit this post as i checkout

It's just the manufacturing process. Cast are literally just gravity cast most of the time, where the molten alloy is poured into a mold and then cooled. Flow formed is one step up that spins the casting and compresses the material. Forged is the top end of the spectrum.
Basically, to achieve the same level of strength, you need more material for cast than you would for forged. In simpler terms, forged wheels rated for the same load are typically a lot lighter than cast wheels. Flow formed is somewhere in between. In my case, my OEM cast wheels are roughly 29 lbs each, but a flow formed aftermarket wheel for my vehicle can be 22 lbs or less.
Depending on what you're doing, cast is just fine. The majority of wheels on the road are cast, and with the exception of performance trims or models, OEM wheels are cast. In my particular case for my EV6 (which is heavy), I think I'll go for a set of OEM wheels (also cast) from another model as my winter wheels.
For your RAV4, I'd stick to cast as well. I asked about one of the C-Wheels 19" load rating and it was 890kg IIRC which is pretty damn good. I suspect their smaller wheels will also have an acceptable load rating. You're not taking this on a track, and you're not towing a giant 5000lbs trailer behind you. There is no point in spending a lot of money on a wheel designed for better performance.

Did you buy these for your EV and are they flow form or cast? Need them for my Tesla 3SR + and Costco has them for $700 + tax now.

I ended up finding a set of OEM Kona N wheels that work for my car for a good price. OEM is usually cast, but it was made for a performance model so I figured they would work. Been using them all winter.
Costco wheels are most likely cast as well, however, they have a decent load rating that will work for your M3. I checked this specifically "HY-1B - 18X8 - GLOSS BLACK wheel" and it had a load rating of 850kg. I suspect most of their models will be good with the weight.
The weight savings would yield very negligible efficiency gains IMO, especially in the winter. At 700 it's a great price, you'd have to spend at least 500 more to get a lighter, flow formed set.
Are they running their 20% off now? Costco usually does a 1 day 20% off rims/tires.

Sale is on til April 10th.
This one is one even cheaper at 679, I do like the satin finish more than the gloss.

If you're on the fence about load and whatnot, email them and they will tell you what the load rating is. It might take a few days to get an answer, but you can always order now to secure pricing and return them if they aren't suitable.
